MOTHER'S DAY - THIS SUNDAY, MAY 9 Invite all of the moms in your life to join us for our special Mother's Day services.* We'll have sweet treats & special drinks just for moms at 4 locations in the lobby. You also have the opportunity to DO GOOD and show some love to moms in our community. They will be given to organizations that help mothers in our area. You can drop off your donation at one of 4 locations in the lobby. Stop at the photo areas for a picture with your family! EP 71. Autism Awareness Month

This week we are joined by Dr. Michell Yetman and Speech-Language Pathologist Rebecca Durr from the Children’s Center at LSU Health to talk about their work with families of kids who are diagnosed with Autism. They share great information on what they do to help families at LSUHC, why early diagnosis is critical, and some interesting facts you may not have known about Autism (including how the US Government is targeting Autistic individuals for specialized jobs!). Today’s episode of the Backstage with the Simple Church Podcast features Dr. Suzanne Tinsley, who is a physical therapist and Assistant Vice Chancellor of Institutional Advancement at LSU-Health. Dr. Tinsley is currently working with COVID-19 survivors, and updates us on what the pandemic looks like in Shreveport / Bossier and what they are finding in patients who have had COVID-19. We also have pastor Justin Haigler guest host with us this episode.
