Summer is here and the Backstage with The Simple Church Podcast is ready for a great summer! Co-Host Scott Odom is finally back with Evan Semanco and Producer Jordan Phillips and we talk about what's coming up this summer, exciting news for the Odom family, and then do some Ai generated Summer Would You Rather Questions.

- Would you rather have sunscreen that never runs out but smells like fried chicken, or sunscreen that smells like roses but you need to reapply every 30 minutes?
- Would you rather have a permanent sunburn on your nose that squeaks like a dog toy when touched, or have your entire body covered in temporary tattoos of beach scenes that come to life and start singing when you're near water?
- Would you rather only be able to swim in pools filled with Jell-O or beaches with water that turns into lemonade when you splash it?

- Would you rather have the ability to summon an endless supply of ice cream, but it's always the flavor you like the least, or have a personal cloud that follows you around and rains ice cream toppings?
- Would you rather have flip-flops that make farting noises with every step or a swimsuit that changes color based on your mood, but sometimes gets it wrong and turns neon green when you're feeling calm?
- Would you rather have a magical beach chair that massages your back but occasionally pinches your toes, or a pair of sunglasses that allow you to see underwater but give you a fish's voice when you speak while wearing them?

This week's podcast features host Evan Semanco talking with Bryan Reed and Steve Watkins about the loss of their children as well as the good that has been done since. Steve is a father, local business owner, and member of Asbury Methodist church in Bossier and he shares how homes started being built in honor of his late daughter Katy. He and Bryan discuss how they were able to get through such a difficult event and share stories of the impact their daughters have continued to make years later.
